Shankar’s dream project “Bharateeyudu 2” aka “Indian 2” has finally been revived.
The film was stalled after production house Lyca Productions felt that the budget is getting overshot in the very first schedule.
Kamal Haasan and Shankar have agreed to slash their remunerations and also signed written agreements. Thus the shoot of the film has commenced again.
On Monday, Rakul Preet Singh has joined the shoot of this movie in Chennai. She has posted her first day’s shoot video on Instagram.
She is playing as a young woman and lover of Siddharth. Kamal Haasan has Kajal Aggarwal as his pair in this patriotic movie while Siddharth and Rakul are the young pair.
Rakul has tasted flops in Tollywood in the recent time with “Manmadhudu 2” and “Spyder” but she is getting hits at the regular interval in Kollywood.
“Bharateeyudu 2” is slated for the Summer 2020 release. Kajal Aggarwal will join the shoot in November.
