On Wednesday morning, there was a buzz in the media as rumors of a potential divorce between actress Asin and her husband Rahul Sharma began circulating on the internet.
Asin, who is not very active on social media, sparked speculation about a split when it was noticed that she had deleted all her photos with Rahul from her Instagram account.
Furthermore, Asin has also removed her wedding pictures from her social media profile, leaving fans curious about the status of their relationship.
The actress, known for her role in the blockbuster movie Ghajini alongside Aamir Khan, last posted on Instagram in October 2022. However, a fan page dedicated to Asin claimed that she had deleted her photos with Rahul as early as February.
The fan page further stated, "This is not the first time she deleted her posts, also, like she has deleted, for example, her parents' wedding anniversary pic, does that mean she has some issues with them? She has deleted the post about Sridevi on her demise, does that mean she no longer loves Sridevi?"
Despite removing most of the pictures, Asin has chosen to keep one photo with her husband on her Instagram account. The photo is a black-and-white picture from Asin and Rahul's wedding reception, where they were joined by the late actor Rishi Kapoor.
Asin and Rahul welcomed a baby girl named Arin in 2017. Asin had decided to step away from her acting career after tying the knot with Rahul, who is the owner of the Indian tech giant Micromax.
Asin made her acting debut in 2001 with the Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka and later appeared in several Tamil films before venturing into Bollywood. Her Bollywood debut came in 2008 with the film Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan.
