AP To Give CBSE In All Schools By 2024

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government is planning to introduce the CBSC model of education and the standards in all its schools.

The CBSE standards and syllabus would be introduced from Class I to VII from 2021-22 academic year.

This would be extended to the upper classes every year and by 2024, all classes and all schools would have CBSE syllabus.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy told the officials of the education department to gear up the for introduction of the CBSE syllabus in the schools.

The chief minister also told them to include English-Telugu dictionary in the kit given to the students under Jagannanna Vidya Kanuka from this academic year.

Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the successful implementation of the first phase of Nadu-Nedu programme in the schools and asked the officials to complete it by March 2021 and launch the second phase.

The chief minister told the officials to have improved version of facilities in the schools, class rooms and toilets in the second phase based on the review of the first phase.
