She alleged that audiences often highlight loopholes and logical flaws in content-driven, female-centric films while overlooking similar issues in mass entertainers.
However, her remarks seem out of touch with the current reality.
Netizens on social media are known for trolling masala films just as harshly, with reviewers regularly pointing out their flaws as well. Perhaps Anupama expected universal acclaim for Paradha, which did not materialize.
Nevertheless, she vowed to continue taking up such content-oriented scripts, saying they give her greater creative satisfaction, regardless of commercial results.
