Amitabh & Jaya's Rs 1,578 Cr Empire Unveiled

Veteran Bollywood couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan continue to reign not just on screen, but also in the world of wealth and luxury.

According to a 2024 Business Today report, the power couple commands a combined net worth of ₹1,578 crore.

Jaya Bachchan’s income stems from her film work, brand endorsements, and her role as a Member of Parliament.

Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, draws from diverse sources: acting, brand deals, rental income, interest, dividends, capital gains, and revenue generated by a solar power plant.

As per financial disclosures for the fiscal year 2022–23, Amitabh’s personal net worth stands at approximately ₹273.74 crore, while Jaya's declared assets are valued at ₹1.63 crore.

Notably, in the financial year 2024–25, Amitabh reportedly earned around ₹350 crore, placing him among the highest individual taxpayers in India.

A 2024 Siasat report highlights Amitabh Bachchan’s stunning car collection, which includes a Bentley Continental GT, a Range Rover Autobiography LWB, a Lexus LX 570, a Toyota Land Cruiser, a Mercedes GL63 AMG, a Mercedes-Benz S 350, a Porsche Cayman S, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a Mini Cooper S, and a vintage Ford, among others. Each vehicle is a reflection of his affinity for style, luxury, and performance.

Bachchan’s iconic family residence, Pratiksha, located in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu neighborhood, is currently valued at around ₹50 crore.

He and his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, also co-own a property in Juhu's Kapol Housing Society worth ₹45 crore.
