Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartfelt tribute to his son Abhishek Bachchan, calling him his “true inheritor” — not by lineage, but by merit.
Posting the trailer of Abhishek’s upcoming film Kaalidhar Laapata, the legendary actor praised his son’s fearless choice of diverse roles and his deep commitment to each character.
“A very rare quality,” he noted. Recalling a line from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh wrote, “They who shall be my inheritors, shall be my sons.”
He lauded Abhishek’s courage to perform and earn recognition on his own terms.
Directed by Madhumita Sundararaman, the film also features Divya Bharti and Mohammed Zeeshan, and will premiere on OTT on July 4.
