Aishwarya-Dhanush: Patch up on Cards?

Aishwarya-Dhanush: Patch up on Cards?

In January 2022, the prominent Tamil cinema couple, Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Dhanush, concluded their 18-year relationship.

Despite being seen together at their elder son Yatra's school event after their separation, recent rumors about a potential reconciliation have been debunked.

Instead, they have opted to co-parent their two sons, putting an end to any speculations of rekindling their romance.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, a filmmaker, and Dhanush, an award-winning actor, announced their separation via their respective Instagram profiles in January 2022.

Despite recent speculations suggesting otherwise, credible sources have clarified that they are not attempting to mend their differences.

According to a source cited by Hindustan Times, "Dhanush is not working on reconciling with Aishwaryaa. They have accepted their separation and moved in different directions. They have come to terms with the turn of events in their lives and acknowledged that they cannot be together."

Instead, the couple is focusing on a plan to co-parent their children, Yatra and Linga.

The source explained, "The rumors of reconciliation are unfounded. They are not trying to reconcile. Although they have not officially filed for divorce, they are separated. There has been no legal filing. They won't consider divorce unless one of them plans to remarry, which is not the case at the moment. They do not reside together, but they hold mutual respect and maintain a friendly bond for their children. They are busy raising their kids and finding ways to co-parent. They take turns looking after their children to ensure they do not feel any void in their lives."

Currently, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is dedicated to the post-production work of her directorial project, "Lal Salaam."

The film, featuring Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal in leading roles, showcases Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. Production has concluded, and the movie is slated for a theatrical release on Pongal 2024.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is eagerly anticipating the release of director Arun Matheswaran's "Captain Miller."

Simultaneously, he is working on his second directorial venture, which also marks his 50th film. Additionally, he has upcoming projects with directors Sekhar Kammula and Arun Matheswaran.
