Mrunal Thakur is reportedly being considered for another interesting Telugu project.
Despite her recent Telugu film “Dacoit” receiving mixed reactions and ending up as only a modest success, the actress continues to enjoy strong popularity and appreciation for her acting talent.
According to industry buzz, Mrunal has been approached for an author-backed role in “Yellamma.”
The film marks the acting debut of music composer Devi Sri Prasad in a lead role.
Directed by Venu Yeldandi of “Balagam” fame and produced by Dil Raju, the project has already generated considerable interest for its strong storyline.
Initially, Nani was expected to headline the film, with Sai Pallavi as the female lead. However, Nani reportedly chose “The Paradise” over “Yellamma,” and Sai Pallavi also stepped away from the project.
Now, reports suggest that Dil Raju has offered Mrunal Thakur a hefty remuneration package to come onboard.
While acting opposite a debut hero like Devi Sri Prasad may not be an easy choice for a leading actress, a strong role and attractive pay could influence the decision.
It remains to be seen whether Mrunal Thakur will finally agree to join the film.
