Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s highly anticipated rural sports drama Peddi has opened its North American bookings just four hours ago, and it has already smashed past the $100K mark, scoring a century right on the first ball.
Peddi has created an all-time record and become the fastest film to reach $100K, breaking the previous record held by Pawan Kalyan’s OG, which registered 82K ticket sales within 24 hours.
The film is creating a booking rampage overseas, setting a new benchmark for how quickly it reached the milestone.
The early pre-sales clearly reflect the massive hype and the solid hold Peddi has on audiences.
Distributor Prathyangira Cinemas has rolled out 950+ premiere shows, positioning Peddi among the widest Indian releases to date.
The movie is also planned for release in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Australia, and few other countries as well.
So far, the makers have unveiled two songs, two glimpses, and striking posters, all of which received overwhelming response and helped build extraordinary buzz.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi promises all the ingredients of a full-fledged commercial entertainer. The trailer, gearing up for release soon, will reveal the film’s world and emotional core.
Mounted on a massive scale by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi features prominent actors from multiple industries along with a stellar technical team.
With post-production racing ahead, the team has also locked the film’s final edit and is preparing to kick-start Pan-India promotions in full swing.

Peddi hot a huge hype with the first song release, not sure why did they delay so much. These overhyped directors do one movie for 3 years. earlier director used to be considered big after 10 films. now they are over the cloud after one hit. Dil Raju/Nag Vamsi and other producers should discourage directors who take more than 6 months for a movie.
I think the film canvass is big. 6 months is a tough target, even Hollywood movies take few years to make.
Though it is his second movie; his directorial abilities can be seen in Nannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam, Uppena etc. He will be in big league soon.

All the hype is a gimmick and gossip, dont fall for it. Just a hero and his fake muscles do not make a movie.
