Young heroes of Tollywood are doing well these days, both in terms of on-screen success and remuneration.
On top of the league is Nani, who commands a price of Rs 5 crore. And close to him is Sharwanand who more or less gets a similar price.
The rest of the heroes who have market value like Nithin and Varun Tej make over Rs 3 crore. So, what does Sai Dharam Teja get paid?
He is one hero who has entered the industry with the aim of carrying forward the legacy of his uncle Chiranjeevi by doing mass films. While he did have some successes, of late, his films haven't done well at the box office.
Right now, he is doing VV Vinayak's Intelligent. Talk is that he gets around Rs 2.5 crore for a film these days. Though there were rumours of he being paid Rs 5 crore, Sai Dharam is finally taking home Rs 2.5 crore for Intelligent.
Since Winner failed at the box-office, his remuneration has gone down drastically and he is hoping to get a hit now so that he can get back into the Rs 5 crore bracket.
However, industry insiders feel lesser remuneration is no problem for Sai Dharam Teja as he is rather thrifty when it comes to money matters. In fact, some compare him to his uncle Pawan Kalyan who is also very careful with money.
