Budget Problems For Charan-Vaitla Film

Budget Problems For Charan-Vaitla Film

These days, most of the producers are finding it hard to complete a star hero's film within their estimated budget. Looks like Ram Charan's upcoming film is likely to join in this list.

Charan will start shooting for his new film ‘My Name is Raju’ (Tentative title) under the direction of Srinu Vaitla. DVV Danayya is producing this movie under Universal Media banner.

While most of the star heroes are choosing from Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman, Ram Charan worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja in ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’. He selected Anirudh Ravichander for his new film and buzz says that the makers have paid 2.5 crores for this ‘Kolaveri’ boy.

Srinu Vaitla got a good remuneration for this film along with his writers department. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have joined this team and they are likely to get 1 crore each.

As per the initial estimation, Danayya thought that he can complete the film within 40-45 crores. However, this film has got many star technicians and if the producer doesn’t control the making cost, budget would exceed 50 crores for sure.

If this happens, Charan should deliver a blockbuster at the box-office and only then, his producer and distributor will be in a safe zone.
