The Kannada star has now become a sought-after name for films with patriotic and devotional themes, such as Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj and Jai Hanuman.
In addition to signing Bollywood films, Rishab is also on a signing spree in Tollywood. Apart from the sequel to Kantara, he hasn’t taken on any new Kannada projects. Instead, he appears to be shifting his focus to Telugu cinema.
According to industry buzz, he is commanding an astronomical remuneration in Tollywood—reportedly much higher than what he would typically earn in the Kannada film industry. This lucrative pay scale is said to be a key reason for his growing preference for Telugu projects.
