NTR struggled for four years. He didn't do any other film and locked 4 years of his life for RRR. But in the end, his fans are unhappy. They feel that NTR is sidelined in the film especially in the second half.
The inside sources say that not only the fans but NTR himself is upset. They are also citing some evidence in support of this.
NTR came out from AMB mall after watching the film on the release day. He was dull and he showed his unrest to the people around. It was said that he felt so, based on the feedback he got from some people.
As per the plan, NTR, Charan, Rajamouli and some key people involved in the film are supposed to go to a Drive In for breakfast. But NTR didn't go to that event. He was also supposed to attend a theater visit but he didn't.
NTR fans are also silent after the first day. They are not saying much about this film as they feel that it's a film made to elevate Ram Charan.
Why would NTR get so disappointed? He knows what is there in the film at the time of dubbing itself. He participated in the promotion events with enthusiasm.
So, now many are assuming that some key scenes that elevate NTR might have got cut from the film. It is known that about 20 minutes of the film was scissored out to fit into the desired length. Many opine that NTR's elevation scenes might have gone into a drain with that scissoring.
Otherwise, there wouldn't be any valid reason for NTR's disappointment after watching the first show in the theater.
Adding to this, the Lord Rama get up given to Ram Charan in the climax part is giving a lot of impetus to his image in North India.
Moreover Ram Charan's character graph has a flashback, inside story and performance in different shades. But NTR's character is plain and almost like that of a second hero. This made NTR fans upset at first and now NTR himself is in sync with that disappointment.
NTR aimed at pan Indian image but that didn't work with RRR.
