KGF2 sets the all time Bollywood record with regard to the first day collection of its Hindi version.
Breaking all the records, the film could hit the mark of Rs 52.50 Cr on the first day. Earlier this, Bollywood film 'War' was on the top with Rs 50.75 Cr record.
The collections are very high in various parts of North Indian belt and the sources say that more traction has come from rural regions and single theatres which was more than the traction pulled by multiplexes.
A calculation says that more than 30 lakh footfalls are registered in one day in Hindi which is a once in a blue moon phenomenon in Bollywood.
Adding to this, it has become a long weekend with Good Friday which proves that the film will break the roof in overall collections as well.
The overseas business of KGF2 Hindi is also impressive and has the potential of crossing Rs 300 USD even on a working day.
On the other hand it should be recalled that the recent RRR Hindi could collect Rs 20 Cr on the first day.
