The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 was released last week on Thursday to a thunderous response from the audience.
KGF 2 collected 16 crore nett apprx on Wednesday which is another huge daily number and it became the first film in history to collect 250 crore nett in a week.
KGF 2 has beaten the record of Bahubali - The Conclusion which collected around 246.50 crore nett.
The film is showing bigger daily drops if we compare with an RRR (Hindi) but that is beacause it had an extra day in its first weekend and consumed much more of the audience in the first four days.
Also the film will have a lesser family audience than films like Bahubali - The Conclusion or RRR which means it will be more front loaded.
Now it will be about where the collections land on the second Friday and that will tell where the film is going. No doubt the film is the biggest BLOCKBUSTER of 2022 till date.
