Dull Openings for Friday Releases!

All the three movies that released on Friday saw poor openings. There were huge expectations on Nagarjuna starrer 'Nirmala Convent' as the star is going through great form and anything he touches is turning gold.

Although it is a teenage love story with two newcomers, the film was bought by distributors for a whopping price since it has Nagarjuna in it.

The producers Nagarjuna and Nimmagadda Prasad have profited big money on this film by selling it for high price. But the distributors are going to incur heavy losses going by the first day openings. At many centers, the occupancy rate was mere 20 to 30 %.

On the other hand, Television star Sagar’s maiden film “Siddhartha” also received bad talk and almost nil openings. Sagar is very popular among women audiences on small screen. But the same folks who admired him in TV serials didn’t turn up at the movie ticket window.

The other small film “Love K Run” was no-starter.
