The bill for creating a Telangana state will be taken up for discussion in the Lok Sabha Tuesday even as the Congress assured its leaders from Seemandhra of justice and the BJP said it was in favour of separate state but concerns of the region should be addressed.

Andhra Pradesh state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayana Monday appealed to the chief minister and chiefs of the TDP and YSR Congress to accompany him to Delhi for making last-ditch effort to stall the state's division.

The Bharatiya Janata Party Monday said it was in favour of Telangana but also wanted Seemandhra's concerns to be addressed, as Congress ministers from Seemandhra met BJP leader L.K. Advani and sought his party's support for a financial package for the region.

More than Seemandhra Congress MPs, Seemandhra union ministers and even YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy or for that matter Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, it is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu who is said to be making hectic lobbying to stall the Telangana Statehood process.

With just four days left for the conclusion the last session of the Parliament during the UPA-II regime, the Congress party is hell-bent on getting the Telangana bill passed at any cost.

Well, we are not talking of their marriage. They insist they are good friends. Media says they are seeing each other.

YSR Congress party and an officers' association Monday staged separate sit-ins in the national capital to oppose proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

The one name which is being heard very strongly across the nation is Narendra Modi and many have sub consciously fixed in mind that he is the next Prime Minister for India.

The constant war of words between TDP and YSRCP seems to have reached the peak stages as the election season is approaching.
