While the two states are undergoing a transformation, there are many who believe YSR the indispensable leader is all they need at this hour. An eternal leader who brought fame to the state and to the nation by his deeds.
Remembering the conducts of Dr. YSR on his birthday was an honor. Dr. YSR Jayanti celebrations happened in Dallas, TX at Mayuri Indian restaurant with over 100 people converging the event on July 8, 2014. The chief guest who graced the occasion was Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, MLA from Chandragiri.
Raman Reddy Kristapati welcomed the crowd and recalled the fond memories during the golden rule of Dr. YSR. He expressed that it is a pleasure to be born during the era when Dr. YSR was alive and rendered services to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Krishna Reddy Koduru recalled the political journey of Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy and mentioned YSR was one of the tallest leaders who stood by all sections of the society with his welfare schemes and by successfully implementing them during his regime.
Pavan Pamadurthi while addressing the gathering mentioned, how Andhra Pradesh rose from the bottom to become one of the leading states in the country and how it lost its charm and progress after the beloved leader departed.
Sreenivasa Reddy Obulareddy recollected the wonderful instances Dr. YSR used to work and opined Dr. YSR will be remembered for the generations to come.
Gopinath Reddy addressing the crowd said Andhra Pradesh is fortunate to have leaders such as Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and reminded their association with the temple town of Tirupathi. He brought some facts to light about Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy’s political journey and congratulated Chevireddy for winning a prestigious constituency as Chandragiri.
Dr. Sridhar Korsapati addressing the crowd expressed it is taking two CMs in trying to implement welfare schemes that Dr. YSR had done effortlessly. He said Rajasekhara Reddy was a leader of the masses who worked for the welfare of the people beyond regions, beyond caste and beyond self-interests and demanded that late Rajasekhara Reddy be conferred with the highest civilian title Bharat Ratna. He thanked MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy for gracing the occasion in Dallas within a short span and said people of Dallas always have special affection towards such leaders.
MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy later addressed the crowd and recollected his fondness towards late Dr. YSR. He stated that he learnt many aspects such as discipline, selfless service and leadership qualities from Rajasekhara Reddy which made people of Chandragiri feel he will be the right leader for their constituency. He said YSR will be remembered as long as the word Telugu exists. He later cut a cake on the occasion.
Candles were lit by the members who were present during the ceremony. Members present during the ceremony were Anant Pajjur, Arvind Reddy, Pramod reddy, Srinivas Reddy Gurram, Pratap Reddy Bhimireddy, NMS Reddy, Vijaymohan Kakarla, Subramanyam Jonnalagadda, Krishna Reddy Uppalapati, Mahesh Adibhatla, Chinasatyam Veernapu, Narender Babu, Madhu Mallu, Venkat Narpala, Thirumala Reddy, Murali Vanam, Uma Kurri, Venkatappa Reddy among others.
Mahesh Adibhatla delivered the thank you note to all who attended the birthday celebrations of Dr. YSR, Mayuri Restaurant for providing the venue and food, TV9, 6TV, DesiPlaza for covering the event and sponsors who made the event a grand success.
