Hardik Pandya received criticism from all corners as he was run-out in the most unfortunate manner on Day 3 of the second Test between India and South Africa at Centurion.
The incident happened soon after Virat Kohli reached his 21st Test century. Batting on 15, Pandya worked a ball from Rabada towards mid-on and was keen on taking a single but was sent back by Kohli.
With plenty of time on offer, the all-rounder, casually reached the striker's end where his bat did not touch the ground despite him making it to the crease.
The wicket came as a huge blow for the tourists considering Pandya and Kohli had added 45 runs for the sixth-wicket stand when the incident happened.
