US President Reacts To 'Trump Is Dead' Viral Claim

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday dismissed rumours about his health, declaring on Truth Social that he has “never felt better” in his life.

His response came after speculation over his well-being spread online, with the hashtag #TrumpIsDead trending on X.

The chatter intensified last week when the White House released a blank public schedule, fueling speculation about Trump’s condition.

On Saturday, Trump sought to put the rumours to rest by posting a photo of himself playing golf. However, some social media users claimed the picture was digitally altered.

Conservative commentator DC Draino defended the president, blasting what he called “comical double standards” in media coverage.

“Joe Biden would go multiple days at a time without public appearances, and the media would say he’s ‘sharp’ and ‘top of his game,’ even while he was wearing diapers and napping. Meanwhile, President Trump puts in more public work hours than any POTUS in history, and the media freaks out if he disappears for 24 hours,” he wrote.

The speculation also drew comment from Vice President JD Vance, who, in an interview with USA Today on August 27, said Trump remained “in good shape” at 79.

Vance described Trump as “the last person making phone calls at night, and the first in the morning,” adding that his energy level reassures both supporters and colleagues.

Still, Vance acknowledged that no leader is immune to unforeseen events.

“Yes, terrible tragedies happen,” he said. “But I feel very confident the president is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term, and do great things for the American people. And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”
