Gone are the days when television was all about information and entertainment. Today it is a big business and for some reason, Andhra Pradesh seems to have the maximum number of TV channels providing this infotainment. So, it is obvious that for TRP the TV channels struggle a lot.
In that process they don’t hesitate to create different controversies and sensations which in turn is spoiling the essence of journalism and entertainment. But here is something different. It is heard that one man has become a hot property for all the TV channels and they are fighting against each other to grab him.
He is none other than Chaganti Koteswara Rao. Whenever his program comes the TRP shoots high. So far, he has delivered discourses on MAA, ETV, Bhakti channel. Now, many other channels are trying their best to get him into their programs.
In a way this is a good thing though it could be strenuous for Chaganti. Instead of coming up with controversial and explicit stuff, sessions from Chaganti will serve not just as enlightenment but also gives a spiritual feel. And the TV folks make their money as well.
