These Jobs Most Likely Lost to AI

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping the global workforce. A Goldman Sachs report warns that 300 million full-time jobs could be automated worldwide.

Roles that are repetitive or follow strict rules are most vulnerable. Administrative positions like data entry, scheduling, and transcription are among the first at risk. Customer service jobs are increasingly replaced by AI chatbots.

In retail, cashiers and stock managers face automation through self-checkout and smart inventory systems.

Manufacturing and logistics are shifting toward robots and autonomous delivery. Even basic content creation — such as copywriting and templated reports — is now being done by AI.

McKinsey projects that up to 30% of work hours globally might be automated by 2030. Still, this disruption brings opportunity.

The World Economic Forum estimates automation will eliminate 85 million jobs by 2025 but create 97 million new ones.

These include AI engineers, data scientists, and ethics officers. The key is adaptability. Professionals should upskill in AI tools, strengthen soft skills, and stay curious. AI isn’t just a threat — it’s a tool. Those who learn to use it will lead the future of work.
