It was on 14 November 2019, a discussion was started in social media about the attack on Durga Temple in Guntur. Exactly on the same day, YS Jagan started 'Manabadi Naadu- Nedu' program in Ongole. But later, it was proved that the temple was not attacked, but shifted to some other place legally, due to road widening.
Again on 21st January 2020, there was an uproar that 23 idols were demolished in Pithapuram Hanuman Temple. Exactly a week before this incident, for the first time in Indian history, YS Jagan has allotted Rs 3000 Cr towards farmers' welfare for price stabilization. The temple attack took place when this scheme was receiving praises from farmer fraternity.
Followed by that on 11 Feb 2020 some idols were demolished in Rompicherla Venugopala Swamy temple, on 13 Feb 2020 Goddess' temple door was demolished at Undrajavaram and on 14 Feb the chariot of Anjaneya Swamy was burnt at Kondabitragunta in Nellore. Exactly a week before these incidents, on Feb 8, YS Jagan Mohan reddy has opened Disha Police Station in Rajahmundry. When the women in the state are eulogizing YS Jagan for his proactive decisions for women protection, the above temple attacks took place in series.
YS Jagan has announced that he was going to hold a program on 7th Sep to benefit 31,16,000 women in 55,607 anganwadis. Exactly a day before that the famous Antarvedi Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy's chariot burning incident took place on 6th Sep.
On Sep 11, YSR Asara scheme to support 87 lakh women was launched. When the Chief Minister was being praised for the same, on Sep 13, the silver lion idols at Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple were disappeared.
YSR Jalakala scheme was about to launch on Sep 28th and exactly three days before that, on Sep 25th Anjaneyaswamy's temple was damaged at Thummuru of Nayadupeta Municipality in Nellore.
When Vidya Kanuka was about to launch on October 8th, attacks took place at Mantralayam Narasimha Swamy Temple on October 5th.
On October 16th, when 56 Corporations were established for the welfare of BCs, exactly the next day there was a social media uproar on the demolition of gopuram of Tralapadu Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple.
When the 'Illa Pattaalu' are being given to the 30 lakh poor women, there was a propaganda that the Purnakumbham lighting in Tirumala was replaced with Cross.
When Jagan was stepping into Vijayanagaram to distribute 'illa pattaalu', an attack on Lord Rama's idol took place exactly at a 10 km distance from him. As the document distribution activity is going on, an attack on Subrahmanya Swamy temple in Rajahmundry also took place.
So, this prima facie and circumstantial evidences say that every temple attack hurting the sentiments of Hindus has been taking place in connection with welfare schemes to divert the attention.
Majority of the people get connected only to the religious sentiments but they don't know the details in the back story.
This article is published to give a clear picture with dates, to understand what actually may be happening in the state.
We believe that everything is happening to divert the attention of the public from the positivity being gained by the Chief Minister. As there is no stone left to combat him politically, some miscreants have chosen this path of hurting the religious sentiments of the people, thereby demonize and destabilize the government.
There is a big challenge ahead for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to prevent these temple attacks and punish the concerned as soon as possible.
"Whoever does this, the government should take strict and immediate action"- This has been the standard demand from majority of the people on social media with regard to the temple attacks in Andhra Pradesh.
It is true that legal system has no emotions. It runs on investigation, evidence and logic. But the people are not so. They are emotion driven due to their over exposure to media. So, they want everything in swift pace. So, at least he has to address the people in tune with their emotions, erase their wrong suspicions and assure whatever they expect.
Keeping that aside, 'Amma Odi' scheme is going to be implemented shortly. There are many chances of seeing these religious attacks by some miscreants with vested interests.
