Another Telugu student was killed in the USA. There have been increasing incidents of Telugu students dying in different circumstances causing profound grief and pain to the family and friends back in India.
While some are dying in accidents, some are succumbing to drugs, and some are becoming victims of homicides.
Paruchuri Abhijit, who hails from Burripalem in Guntur district, was studying engineering at Boston University.
On March 11, Abhijit was killed by thugs on the university campus, and his body was left in a car in the nearby forest.
The police identified the body based on his cell phone signals after receiving a complaint from his friends. But the police are yet to identify the thugs who committed this heinous crime.
Some members of the Telugu associations are working towards sending the body back to India.
