T.A.T.A Meet and Greet was grand success in MN

Telangana America Telugu Association (T.A.T.A. ) presented an excellent Meet and greet program with Sri. Deshapathi Srinivas, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Telangana. Event was organized by T.A.T.A. of Minnesota on Sunday November 8, 2015 at GrandStay Hotel & Conference hall, Apple Valley Minnesota and was well attended over 100 enthusiastic audience of telugu community.

The event started with Sri Madhu Kolan of T.A.T.A. introducing T.A.T.A. executive committee, Sri  Shrini Reddy Venkata RVP,  Sri Narayan Reddy RC, Sri Pradeep Nalamada RC and Sri Anjan Yatelli RC. He explained the ideals of T.A.T.A. and the ambitious plans of service including supporting “Mission Kakatiya”.

The evening’s entertainment was presented by world renowned ventriloquist, mimicry artist Sri. “Mimicry Ramesh”. His fun filled imitations of popular personalities, politicians, and film star was true to life and amazed the audience to thunderous applause and laughter all along.  Apart from humor and mimicry Ramesh many clips of telugu and hindi songs from Ghantasala, Mohamed Rafi and others paying tributes legendary artists.

Sri. Deshapathi Srinivas, celebrity of the evening explained of the rich culture and heritage of Telangana and importance of it in the history of forming the state. As the state is doing its best to preserver and promote, he stressed upon the need for NRIs to step forward to do their part.

Sri Deshapati Srinivas being a poet and very knowledgeable about state history, most of the narration was filled with poetic recitals to reference the life and history of the people, which made the evening live and energized. He answered many questions from audience how they can help the needy even in small steps which can bring big change. The packed audience thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The event organizers, T.A.T.A.  felicitated the visiting celebrities with traditional shawls, flower bouquets thanking for the services and the message. Local Telugu associations, TEAM president Sri. Laxman, and MATA Vice President Sri. Niranjan felicitated visiting guests on behalf of their organizations and telugu community at large. T.A.T.A.  executive, Sri. Madhu Kolan and Shrini Venkata, extended their thanks to every one attended and the sponsors who supported the event.
