Prithvi buys apartment in Mumbai for Rs 10.5 cr

Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw has bought a flat in Mumbai's Bandra West for Rs 10.5 crore, Moneycontrol reported. 

The unit with a 2,209-sq ft carpet area and a terrace of 1,654-sq ft was registered on April 28, the report added. 

Shaw was one of the Delhi Capitals' mandatory retentions for the ongoing IPL 2022. He has been offered a sum of INR 7.5 crore for this season.

Nonetheless, the youngster has blown hot and cold so far, managing just 259 runs from nine matches at an average of 28.78 and a strike rate of 159.88, including two half-centuries with his highest score being 61.

The budding cricketer would now be looking forward to making the most of his opportunities in the remaining fixtures.

DC would be facing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on May 5.
