What type of journalists are these? Arnab Goswami proved to be the chamcha of Central Congress or some crony of a foreign investor in his channel. He never bothered to lament on the inappropriate decision of Congress to introduce T Bill in the Parliament without any prior discussion on it. And when he interviewed Rahul Gandhi little while ago, he didn’t even lament on the troubling soil of AP. I doubt if Arnab has the courage in his nerves to go and question the High Command about the imbroglio in AP that is troubling from last 4 years.
Keeping all this aside, he showed his enthusiasm and called Lagadapati Rajgopal to his studio and attempted to intimidate him with his verbose attack and verbal bombardment without even letting Lagadapati to answer, react or respond. He called Lagadapati as Pepper Spray member of Parliament in a satirical tone.
He asked him, “What were you trying to do with pepper spray inside Parliament”?
As Lagadapati was answering that he was mobbed and attacked by MPs inside the well, Arnab interrupted him with his loud intimidating voice. He didn’t behave like a journalist but behaved like a prosecutor. Who the hell gave him that right? He kept on barking as the loyal pet of either Congress High Command or the MPs those received the pepper shower in their eyes.
He also decreed as the Justice, “You are a ruckus creating rowdy in Parliament and you should be thrown out from the Parliament”.
I don’t understand why Lagadapati maintained his poise despite these harsh statements by Arnab. He would have replied, “What the hell you are talking. Shut up. Behave like a journalist before you question my Parliamentary behavior. Don’t behave like a media rowdy”.
Of course, he didn’t even allow Lagadapati to utter at least a single word. Despite he asked, “You have accused me and don’t I have a right to respond”, Arnab chose to be recalcitrant.
I can’t say what Lagadapati did is right or wrong, but the media rowdies like Arnab Goswami are creating bigger uproar by shouting like an insane lunatic without even letting Rajagopal to give an explanation.
It is media rowdyism that is putting India to shame than the pepper spray incident.
