Do u Know? Rohit's New Record In IPL History

Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma on Wednesday equalled the record for registering most ducks in IPL history.

Rohit recorded his 15th duck in the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) today. Dinesh Karthik, Sunil Narine and Mandeep Singh also have 15 ducks to their names in IPL.

USD slowly losing status as world's main reserve currency

International Monetary Fund (IMD) MD Kristalina Georgieva recently stated that the US dollar is gradually losing its status as the world's main reserve currency amid US-led anti-Russia sanctions. However, she also pointed out that although there is no viable alternative to the US dollar among global currencies in the near future, there has been a gradual shift away from it.

Indian-origin Ajay Banga confirmed as next World Bank President

The World Bank on Wednesday confirmed Indian-origin Ajay Banga has been selected as its next President for a five-year term. "The Board looks forward to working with Mr. Banga on the World Bank Group Evolution process," the bank said in a statement. Former Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga, 63, will take over the role from David Malpass on June 2.

In last 3 decades, 1 airline on average went bankrupt every year

One scheduled airline on an average has gone out of business every year since private airlines took to the skies nearly three decades ago. The first private airline to go bankrupt was East West Travel and Trade Links in 1996. Since 1994, at least 27 scheduled carriers have either shuttered operations, have been acquired or have merged with other carriers.
