The last few weeks has been quite disturbing for me. While I am not here to vent out my personal anguish, this is something to express where the world is heading and what has become of human being.
Being an ardent devotee of Baba, I have always believed in ‘Love All Serve All’ but the incidents taking place after the departure of Swamy in Puttaparthi, my heart has been wrenched to sadness and frustration.
My primary question is to the media channels – Do you realise what you are doing? Does it occur to you that your acts are making a mess of the society and giving a severe impact on their mindset? I agree that it is business at the end of the day but business also has ethics and I am not seeing an iota of that in you.
The media channels are trying their best to prove that Sai Baba is nothing. It is ok if they are showing about the trust and if indeed there are some frauds happening. But why target Baba? In between they used to come up with programs showing that his acts like creating ‘Vibhudhi’, gold chain or gold ring is fake. They went through the logical way without giving any room for reasoning beyond the existence of a human realm.
Now, I would like the media people to sort this confusion- when Baba Bhaktas used to do Poojas at home, the ‘Vibhudhi’ used to come from the photo frames and that too with a divine fragrance. Few of the devotees I know personally have seen honey coming from the photo frames of Baba, how is it possible? The great media people can come and prove this to be wrong. There are many instances of people praying to Baba and getting healed.
I can recall the experience of my close friend who suffered from fissures and after getting admitted into hospital, the doctors gave up. However, my friend had his strong faith in Baba and he began praying. In a week’s time, when the scan report came in, the fissures vanished and it was indicating a surgical cut near the anal canal. The doctors simply said it is a miracle. Can the media explain this? My word to them is simple- what goes around comes around and if the media channels think by defaming Baba or any other noble person will fetch them fame and in their words TRP, they must be prepared to pay for it dearly as Karmic balance is bound to happen.
