America's Regime Change Mission In Nepal?

Widespread on social media is the belief that the United States is actively stirring unrest in Nepal.

Analysts and commentators argue that the ongoing protests against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli are not entirely homegrown but fueled by foreign interference.

With Oli being a known friend of China, many suspect that Washington is leveraging local dissatisfaction to destabilize the government.

Critics point to America’s historical involvement in regime changes, including in Bangladesh, as a precedent.

Now, similar tactics appear to be unfolding in Nepal, with U.S.-backed institutions creating pressure points.

Though it all started with the ban of social media platforms in Nepal, the public unrest is now aimed at regime change, say analysts and some theories.

Recent protest violence and attacks on police have intensified suspicions.

Social media platforms are flooded with claims that the U.S. is secretly orchestrating the agitation, aiming to dethrone a China-aligned prime minister and reshape Nepal’s political landscape.
