YSRC leaders giving self-declaration!

YSRC leaders giving self-declaration!

Stunned by the rumours in a section of media as well as social media, obviously closer to the ruling Telugu Desam Party circles, the YSR Congress party leaders are forced to issue statements declaring their loyalty to their party and president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

On Thursday, it was the turn of Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy to give a self-declaration stating that he would remain with the YSR Congress party and support the leadership of Jagan.

He was reacting to the reports in the social media that he was contemplating joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, as he was not happy with the leadership of Jagan and that after the party’s defeat in Nandyal by-elections, the MP lost hopes on the party.

“There is not an iota of truth in these reports, which are silly and baseless. I neither got an offer from the BJP nor did I approach them. Why should I? I am happy in the YSRC,” he said.

On Nandyal by-election result, Mekapati said everybody was aware how Chandrababu Naidu had managed to win the seat with sheer manipulation and pumping of huge amount of money.

“How can it be linked to me? I joined the YSRC as I believed that Jagan is the only person who can fulfil the aspiration of his father late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy,” he said.

On Wednesday, YSRC MLA G Srikanth Reddy also had to give similar disclaimer, stating that he was not defecting to any other party. Firebrand MLA R K Roja, too, said she would remain with Jagan till her last breath.
