Will PM Offer Krishnam Raju The Big Post?

It is known that actor and film-maker Krishnam Raju has been a loyal BJP supporter for a very, very long time.

And it is being said that Prime Minister Modi is considering to give him the Governor's post as Krishnam Raju is from one particular social community, many of whom support BJP.

Also, Krishnam Raju represents the Andhra people from the Godavari region which is an additional plus.

However, there is a little twist in the story here. Incidentally, Krishnam Raju is closer to LK Advani than Modi and this could work against him say some BJP members.

It is known that Modi is not very encouraging to people who support Advani, so while there are strong rumours that Krishnam Raju is being considered, the news cannot be confirmed till a formal announcement is made.

Meanwhile, Krishnam Raju made his move by accompanying Prabhas to a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, after Baahubali became a sensational hit. On his part, Modi appreciated Prabhas and promised to watch the film when time permits.

So now it remains to be seen how things will shape up and who will be chosen once Governor Narasimham completes his term.
