Why Fake Surveys Every Month, Mr KCR?

Why Fake Surveys Every Month, Mr KCR?

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had been trying to cover up erosion of public support to his government through fake surveys and bogus awards.

Uttam ridiculed the "surveys" being conducted by the Chief Minister on the possible outcome of next elections.

"Why KCR is worried about the results of next elections which are due to be held in 2019? If he is still popular among masses, then why is he conducting different surveys almost on monthly basis? The surveys and their reported outcome are nothing but farce and an attempt to mislead the people and his own party cadre," he said.

He said KCR's claim that the TRS would win 100 seats in next Assembly elections was just humbug. He said no section of the society was happy with the performance of TRS Government and all of them are desperately waiting for next elections to teach the ruling party a fitting lesson.

"KCR has already sensed his defeat in next elections. For the same reason, he is trying to divert people's attention from his failures by disclosing the findings of one or the other surveys. In almost all the meetings of TRS Legislature Party held in the recent past, KCR talked only about surveys and never discussed issues concerning common people," he said.

The TPCC chief also ridiculed the hype being created by the TRS leaders over some agricultural leadership award being given by a private institution to the Chief Minister.

He said entire agriculture sector has been in crisis since TRS Government took over in June 2014 and none of the affected persons, including the families of over 3,500 farmers who committed suicide, got any relief so far. Therefore, those giving the award and also the recipient (CM) need to do a serious introspection of their stand.

"It would be an insult for lakhs of farmers and their families if KCR is given any award for agriculture leadership. It will only refresh the wounds inflicted to farmers by TRS Government during the last three years," he said.
