Ever since the cash-for-vote scandal surfaced, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been facing allegations of having surrendered to his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The earlier aggressive approach of Naidu towards KCR has completely disappeared and both have become thick friends. And whenever they meet, they crack jokes and shake hands. And whenever there is an occasion, Niadu praises KCR and vice versa.
On Friday, Naidu was all praise for KCR once again, while addressing the TDP functionaries at a workshop in Vijayawada.
“Do you know why people have voted for KCR? Not because he belongs to a particular caste or creed. They believed that he would develop Telangana and introduces welfare schemes. And he is doing it and will do it; and hence, people will vote for him again and again,” he said.
The TDP president said the best way to get into the hearts of the people is to do good work for the development of the state.
“Let us not ask votes in the name of religion or caste. Let us do our job sincerely and ask for votes,” he said.
Needless to say, Naidu called up KCR and extended his heartfelt wishes on the latter’s 63rd birthday!
