TDP leaders a step ahead in vulgar abuses!

On one hand, pro-Telugu Desam Party media houses have been highlighting the pungent and abusive comments of YSR Congress party leaders against TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders, as if the latter are symbols of Gautama Buddha, maintaining utmost restraint.

On the other, the TDP leaders are also crossing all sorts of decency and decorum in hurling abuses at the YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and his party leaders, particularly their firebrand MLA R K Roja.

A classic example is the comment made on Saturday by TDP minister Adinarayana Reddy, who had in fact been elected on the YSRC ticket but jumped into the ruling party.

Though he did not directly take the name of Roja, Adinarayana Reddy said it was ridiculous that some leaders who had the habit of shedding clothes were questioning the attire of his cabinet colleague Bhuma Akhila Priya.

Obviously, he was referring to Roja, who recently found fault with Akhila Priya for moving on the roads wearing chudidar and pyjama, instead of traditional sarees.

In the past, the TDP leaders also spread rumours that she was acting in obscene films. May be, Adinarayana Reddy was making reference to the costumes worn by Roja when she was acting in such films.

“Even children are laughing at the comments made by her at Akhila Priya’s dress, as they were aware what kind of dressing Roja had in the past,” he commented.

This is also nothing short of sexist comment made by the minister. But that is how the present day politics is all about!
