Revanth Entry To Cause Komatireddy Exit?

Revanth Entry To Cause Komatireddy Exit?

While the Congress high command appears to be very eager in admitting Telangana Telugu Desam Party working president and MLA A Revanth Reddy into the party, it is also facing a threat of senior party leaders calling it quits sooner or later.

Prominent among those who might quit the Telangana Congress party are Komatireddy brothers --- Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his younger brother Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. Both the brothers are highly ambitious and want the PCC president post to either of them.

In fact, Rajagopal Reddy has the ambition of becoming the chief minister if the Congress comes to power. For quite some time, the brothers have been questioning the leadership of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy and they have even dared AICC general secretary R C Khuntia.

Now, if Revanth Reddy enters the party, the Komatireddy brothers will lose whatever little importance they have in the party now. Though it is too early to say whether Revanth will be declared as the CM candidate of the party, but if it happens, the brothers will be permanently out of the party.

Sources say the Komatireddy brothers are already in touch with the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership in Delhi and they might take a decision on defecting to the saffron party, if Revanth makes a grand entry into the Congress.
