Naidu's Double Standards Exposed Again!

Naidu's Double Standards Exposed Again!

Telugu Desam Party president, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has once again exposed his double standards in politics.

On one hand, he provides “leaks” to a select group of media stating that he would fight all out with the NDA government for neglecting AP in budget and on the other, he lavishes praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the floor of the Assembly.

It was only on Monday that Naidu had attacked the Modi government at the TD Legislature Party meeting for showing step-motherly attitude towards AP in the budget. His party MPs raised a hue and cry in Delhi for not providing adequate funds to the State.

In his post-budget press conference, too, Naidu expressed unhappiness over the allocations to the State in railway and general budgets.

However on Tuesday, the Chief Minister described Modi as a tall leader and statesman who had enhanced the prestige of the nation.

He said the Centre had granted special package to north coastal and Rayalaseema districts, but he was asking for special category status to the entire State.

“Our party had forged alliance with the BJP much before the elections in the best interest of the nation,” he defended.

It is now pretty clear that Naidu does not want to lose friendship with Modi. And he knows the repercussions if he does so. He may not dare doing it for another five years.
