AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu's craziness for foreign dignitaries seems to have touched the peak again.
When he was CM for Undivided AP between 1995 and 2004 he used to chant the names of Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Tony Blair etc and ignored the local issues and problems resulting in his party suffering humiliating defeats at the hands of Congress headed by late YSR in 2004 and 2009 Assembly elections.
Despite this, Naidu seems to have not learnt any lessons from his past mistakes.
After becoming CM of residuary AP 19 months ago, Naidu seems to be back to his own ways.
Naidu has now planned to constitute an Economic Development Council for Andhra Pradesh to attract lakhs of crores of rupees into AP.
If one goes through the list of advisors/members, Naidu has proposed to appoint in this council, one is sure to remain shell shocked.
Naidu has proposed to appoint former US President Bill Clinton, former UK PM Tony Blair, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Pepsico Chief Indra Nooyi, industrailists Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra, Shiv Nadar, Deepak Parekh, Adi Godrej, ITC Deveshwar, former RBI governors Y.V.Reddy, C Rangarajan etc.
Now the question being raised by political and officials circles is that is it possible for such high profile personalities to attend a single meeting of council in AP and advise Naidu on getting investments.
It is difficult to secure the appointment of these dignitaries to meet them even once in a year even for governments and is it possible for Naidu to appoint them as advisors/ members and make them attend the council meetings in AP.
Is it not fooling the public, Mr Naidu?
