Naidu Converts Resorts Into Party Office!

Happy Resorts, a popular resorts-cum-club house on the Vijayawada-Guntur highway near Mangalagiri has turned into the official headquarters of Telugu Desam Party, at least for the time being.

TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has been conducting the two-day training camp for party functionaries at Happy Resorts on Monday and Tuesday, has decided to take the complex on rent for the party office, till the new building of the TDP headquarters is completed. Within no time, the lease agreement was signed for two years.

The Happy Resorts has a huge conference hall, 30 spacious rooms, besides dining hall, kitchen and restaurant, besides massive parking space.

The conference hall and the party president’s chambers have been remodelled for Naidu. So, for the next two years, it is going to be the TDP’s official state headquarters.

Who is the owner of this resorts? Inquiries revealed that the resorts belongs to a real estate dealer and hotelier Ambati Madhu Mohana Krishna from Mangalagiri in Guntur district.

He unsuccessfully contested from Mangalagiri assembly constituency on Lok Satta Party ticket in 2014 elections. Subsequently, he is said to be associated with the TDP.

It is learnt his hotel and resorts business has been running in losses and hence, he is trying to make big money by leasing out the building to the TDP head office.
