The Supreme Court recently issued a directive that except for the President and Prime Minister, the photographs of no other person should be featured on government ads.
So what does Arvind Kejriwal do? He takes to radio as a means of propaganda, with his voice-over in all ads highlighting the achievements of his government (Wonder what they are!).
And the amount, Kejriwal has earmarked for this purpose is Rs 500 crore. Last year, it was only 24 crore spent on the radio ads by the Delhi administration.
This huge increase is at the expense of infrastructure development. One cannot help feeling sorry for the people of Delhi.
They fell for Kejriwal’s antics and put him in power, not realizing that he’s just another demagogue.
