Jagan okay, but why did Lokesh skip it?

One could understand why YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was absent at the wedding of Paritala Sriram, son of Andhra Pradesh minister Paritala Sunitha, as the latter still has the suspicion over Jagan’s alleged role in the murder of her husband Paritala Ravi.

It was not known whether she had extended an invitation to him or not and whether Jagan himself has decided against going there.

What is surprising is the absence of Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary and the cabinet colleague of Sunitha. Though his father, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu attended the function and blessed the couple, Lokesh was conspicuous by his absence. In fact, he is believed to be the successor of Naidu and even on that count, Sriram has to maintain good relations with Lokesh.

But, Lokesh preferred to abstain from the wedding though he had not pressing engagements on that day. Inquiries revealed that the TDP general secretary was not happy with the way Paritala family ignored his advice on the defection of Gottipati Ravikumar from YSR Congress party into the TDP.

While Lokesh played a crucial role in admitting Ravi Kumar to take on Karanam Balaram, prominent leader in Prakasam district, Paritala opposed the same. And Lokesh had to pull up the mother and son to see Gottipati be admitted into the party.

Perhaps, this was the reason why Lokesh preferred to avoid Paritala family!
