Hyderabad Bros Quitting Cong?

If the speculations going on in political circles are to be believed, former ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud, popularly known as Hyderabad Brothers, are all set to say good bye to the Congress party.

While Mukesh Goud’s exit is more or less confirmed on Wednesday itself, rumours about Danam leaving the Congress party gained credence on Thursday.

In a sudden outburst, Danam lashed out at Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and former minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy for interfering in the Hyderabad Congress party affairs.

“Though Ponnala is TPCC president, he has business to poke his nose in city party affairs. Similarly, Shashidhar Reddy is also instigating party activists against me with an eye on Sanathnagar by-polls,” Danam said.

Sources said Mukesh is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party. His uncle and Rajya Sabha member T Devender Goud is learnt to be the brain behind Mukesh’s entry into the TDP. On the other hand, Danam is likely to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, say sources.
