Strange are the ways of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. While the party leaders from Telangana have been constantly attacking the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the state, their central leaders, who are coming to Telangana to participate in the Hyderabad liberation day programmes, are showering praises on KCR and his leadership.
At the same time, TRS leaders including their president K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son K T Rama Rao, are making every effort to appease the Central BJP leaders and praising the Narendra Modi government, much to the embarrassment of the local BJP leaders.
This is naturally irritating the Telugu Desam Party leaders who are hoping to fight together with the BJP in the next elections too. Telangana TDP leader and Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy came down strongly against the BJP’s double standards towards KCR.
Stating that the BJP leaders in the state are demanding that the TRS government to permit the Telangana Liberation Day celebrations on September 17, he criticized the Chief Minister for not approving the official celebrations. However, the Union Ministers arriving from Delhi are praising KCR for his developmental works.
The TDP MLA urged the BJP leaders to make a choice between KCR and the public.
