Another YSRC MLA To Join TDP?

Another YSRC MLA To Join TDP?

Even as YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has been demanding disqualification of his party MLAs who had defected to the TDP and has even boycotted the ongoing winter session of the assembly, more MLAs from the party are inclining towards the ruling party.

According to the latest reports, YSRC MLA from Paderu in Visakhapatnam Giddi Eshwari is understood to have decided to call it quits from the party.

A staunch loyalist of the YSRC and Jagan, Eshwari is said to be very much upset with the role played by his advisor and MP Y Vijaya Sai Reddy, who wants to get the Paderu ticket to a former minister who recently joined the party.

She tried to bring it to the notice of Jagan, but she has not been able to get his appointment.

Peeved at this, Eshwari on Thursday held a meeting with her followers to discuss the future course of action.

She remained inaccessible to all the senior party leaders for the last two days in protest. In all probability, she might join the TDP in a couple of days, sources said.

Only recently, another YSRC MLA Vantala Rajeshwari from Rampachodavaram in East Godavari district joined the ruling TDP in the presence of Naidu, stating that she was impressed with the developmental activities of the TDP government.

If Eshwari also joins the TDP, the total number of MLAs defected from YSR into the TDP would be 24.
