Amit Shah disappoints T-BJP leaders again!

At a time when the Telangana BJP leaders are planning to go all out against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi and emerge as a potential alternative, their national leaders are dampening their spirits with their strange attitude.

The Telangana BJP leaders were hoping that their national president Amit Shah would come to Hyderabad in September to participate in Hyderabad liberation day celebrations. But he dropped the plan and Union home minister Rajnath Singh who attended the celebrations did not utter a word against TRS or its president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Later, Amit Shah hinted that he would come to Telangana for three days in October and give a direction to the cadres. But now, the latest report is that Shah has once again postponed his visit on the pretext of ensuing elections to Gujarat Assembly.

Party sources in Delhi say Shah is expected to visit the State either in the last week of coming January or first week of February. The BJP state leadership is planning to organise a rally with one lakh bikes against the policies of the State government during Shah’s visit. The party will also hold a massive public meeting in Hyderabad.

It learnt the BJP national leadership does not want to go very aggressively against the TRS in Telangana, though it wants its numbers to go up. It is primarily targeting the Congress party and focussing on winning more Lok Sabha seats than forming the government in Telangana.

During his recent visit to Telangana, BJP national general secretary (organisational matters) Ramlal also stressed on the same thing. He asked the local BJP leaders to formulate strategies to win as many Lok Sabha seats as possible in the 2019 general polls.
