This Big Director Wrote Signboards

Now, it's the season of flexis and neon glow signboards. But there was a time when companies got signboards made with oil paints.

And at the time, people who wrote rounded letters were in demand. So, one person who was much sought after in Palakollu was Kodi Ramakrishna.

During his student days, he would write signboards for pocket money. Incidentally, one such signboard which he had painted way back then was the ‘Ashoka Plastics’ signboard which can be seen around Palakollu railway station.

Thanks to this background, he got the logo of his first film Intlo Ramayya Vidhilo Krishnayya written on a slate and the logo of his second film Tarangini on a book and the logo of his third film Alaya Sikharam on a blackboard.

Successful directors do make use of their various talents to create something unique.
