Open Letter To Power Star Pawan Kalyan

Open Letter To Power Star Pawan Kalyan

It is with a heavy heart that this letter is being shared with you. I am a simple law-abiding tax payer.

Recently, we had to witness the gala celebration of your birthday by your fans in Bheemavaram. In the process, some cut-outs with your picture on them were taken down by unknown people.

Your fans allegedly indulged in damaging public property, instead of dealing with private individuals who were responsible for the act.

Let me clarify what 'public' property means: It is something that is built using taxpayers' money, ie, money taken out of tax paid by citizens like me. They are not 'free', so that, anybody can damage them anytime and boom, they reappear just like that.

One can only wonder if your fans ask themselves, 'how can a Government re-build after we damage them? Would it not be again with taxpayers' money?'.

As innocent citizens, our problems did not stop with the alleged destruction of public property by your fans. There is news of Section 144 and potentially a curfew in some areas. Really? Your birthday and associated events have to end this way? Do you care about such unfortunate incidents or are you only mindful of your fanfare?

If you are a genuine leader, this is your opportunity to speak out condemning the alleged act. It would, at the very least, or may try to prevent such meaningless acts by anyone else in future.

Finally, for God sake, please don't express your response using Twitter, as it may not serve any tangible purpose.

Best regards,
Oka Andhra Bidda
