Okay, fans are meant to be crazy. But fans of Pawan Kalyan seem to be taking their craziness to all new heights.
For starters, they demanded that Pawan Kalyan's image be put on currency notes. Now, that for an actor who is barely known outside both Telugu speaking states.
Then, the latest surprise comes in the form of his fans celebrating October 11 as world Pawanism day. If you thought that was taking things a bit too far, they say that Pawan Kalyan's first film was released on October 11 some 19 years back.
Now, no matter what the fans think, it surely is a rather embarrassing development for Pawan Kalyan as he is not the first or the last among good actors.
Even if one were to look at the Telugu film industry, there have been biggies like ANR, NTR, SVR among others.
Also, even during their time, their fans would give out special stories and organise events for their birthdays and film releases. But they did not go to the extent of announcing world Pawanism days. Though NTR's title is viswa vikhyata nata sarvabhowma, his films like Nartanasala had won international awards.
Well, no matter how his fans feel, this new 'day' is surely a little odd for other people and some from the industry feel that Ram Gopal Varma is the correct person to dissect this latest development.
