ATA Convention Drive Gathers Momentum

American Telugu Association’s (ATA) Convention Registration campaign has gone into overdrive eliciting ostensibly unprecedented response from families nationwide with a recent registration drive conducted at various locations in Libertyville, Waukegan, and Morris [IL] which drew enthusiastic response from the Telugu communities spread across the state of Illinois.

The goal of launching the registration drive was to push the gathering momentum further among Telugu communities nationwide to increase the registration and thus the participation in the biggest silver jubilee ATA Convention to be held in July 1-3, 2016 at Rosemont Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

This registration-drive event was held under the leadership of Chandrasekhar Reddy Palvai Conference Convener, K.K.Reddy, Conference Director and Registration Committee Chair- Malla Reddy, Co-Chairs -Partha Pantham and Srinivas Bommineni and committee members Naveen Manyam, Rambabu ,Madhu Arambakam, 

Sanjeeva joined by Krishna Mushyam  and Jagan Bukkaraju, Conference Co-Conveners.

Chandrasekhar Reddy Palvai, Convention Convener said ATA is truly excited at the huge response demonstrated by Telugu families; while K.K.Reddy Convention Director said ATA Convention holds tremendous promise with the kind of unprecedented response we are able to elicit not only here in the U.S., but in other parts of the world particularly in the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Tollywood Actress Ms.Pranitha Subhash was the Special Guest who joined the ATA leaders in pushing the registration drive with greater zeal and the families gathered were enthused to enlist for the ATA convention in large numbers.

ATA team conducted another reception with Actress Ms. Pranitha Subhash in Waukegan, IL that brought a large number of telugu families to participate in the pre-convention festivities.

Judging by the huge response, ATA Convention leaders have expanded registration drives in smaller towns across the nation to reach out the Telugu families eager to get them connected with Telugu people at the Convention.  

ATA leaders are pleased at the enthusiastic response that each registration drive is drawing and are continuing to hold these drives to bring greater awareness of the silver jubilee convention that seeks to connect telugu people with telugu culture.
