Where is Jayaprakash Narayan, who never hesitates to speak about justice?

Where is Chalasani Srinivas, who lectures on ethics and values?

Why is Venkaiah Naidu, a veteran known for his political wisdom, maintaining silence?

Where is Pawan Kalyan, who promises to crush injustice?

And what happened to Chiranjeevi, who speaks about roads and development in Andhra Pradesh but has little to say about the attacks on democracy?

When democracy is under attack, why are its self-proclaimed defenders missing?

Ever since local body elections unfold in Andhra Pradesh, disturbing allegations of violence, threats and intimidation have emerged.

Opposition candidates have reportedly been prevented from filing nominations. Videos circulating on social media have raised serious questions about the conduct of those involved and the role of the police.

If candidates cannot even file nominations freely, what remains of democracy? Elections lose their meaning when fear replaces freedom and force takes the place of fair competition.

Yet, the silence of prominent public figures is deafening. Those who speak passionately about justice, ethics and people’s rights cannot remain silent when those very principles are at stake.

Is justice now selective? Do democratic values matter only when they suit political interests?

Andhra Pradesh deserves more than speeches and slogans. It deserves leaders who speak up when it matters most.

Silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality; it is a betrayal of the very values these leaders claim to uphold.

  1. They did not speak in 2021 and they are not speaking now. You are acting and writing articles as if this is first time you have seen this. Instead of asking them, show me what reporting you did in 2021 as media?

  2. ఒరె GA! పిచ్చి పట్టినట్టు ఈ ఆర్తనాదాలు ఎమిటిరా? నా దాకా వస్తె కాని తెలీదు అంటావా?

  3. Nee badha enti raa saami. Tirupati is strong fold of TDP but during YCP regime, 47 corporators unanimous without any election. They kidnapped TDP people, mari Apudu emaindhi nee yedupu….

  4. CBN is taken to all states and doing publicity for BJP during elections , so he is getting money in funds allocation along with debts, Jagan was only getting debts because he was supporting from outside. seems like BJP will just use both parties, they won’t care about issues in state as seen in both governments.

  5. People commenting here saying ycp did back then and we are doing now..lame logic ..then whats the point of electing you? If you do it now ycp will do it again later..

    1. Raju garu, I agree with you. We should not be slaves to any politician, whether it is Jagan or the Kutami leaders. We support a political party for many reasons, but that does not mean we should blindly support everything they do. We should also openly acknowledge how horrible the local elections were during the YCP government. We certainly do not want the same things repeated now. Many people voted for a change because they were unhappy with Jagan’s governance and wanted better governance. We should question the current government whenever it makes mistakes, but we should apply the same standards to every party. Our priority should be good governance, not blind loyalty to politicians.
